I love science and math. In high school, I was a total geek. I would do not only my homework, but extra problems, just for fun. It paid off, as I ended up being the valedictorian of my class. I went on to obtain my bachelor of science in Civil Engineering from the University of California in Irvine, and am now working hard to earn my master's in the same subject. I one day intend to work in the public sector, monitoring and analyzing environmental hydrology and water resource models. I have always been a tutor, ever since high school where I tutored other students in - you guessed it - math. I continued tutoring in college, again in a number of math subjects. I am always so proud of my students when their grades improve, and they pass their classes with a much better score than they thought they would. I am able to tutor students in many subjects, not just math related ones. I do tutor all math subjects, but also history, science, social science, and I do some work with preparing students for standardized tests like the SAT. In my free time, I enjoy playing piano, running, traveling, and hiking.
